NASA, Mars, and Nazca Lines

1. NASA has released purported images of the tire tracks of the Curiosity Rover on Mars.
2. These pattern created by these lines would only be visible from space.
3. NASA is claiming that the lines contain embedded Morse Code, reading JPL.

The images posted by NASA look remarkably like the Nazca lines found in South America, but NASA makes no comment acknowledging this obvious connection. It is difficult to believe that even they have not noted the similarity in the lines, as well as in the names! (NASA : Nazca)

By claiming to have embedded additional information in the lines, NASA raises the question as to whether similar information might be embedded in the Nazca lines - yet they clearly have no intention of investigating that question (or if they do, it would appear that they would intend to keep the results of that investigation to themselves).

When will NASA - a part of the US federal government, and thus purportedly accountable to the people - release this important information to the public?
Why do they insist on keeping this potentially Earth-shaking revelation from the general populace?
When will they release data regarding the levels of radioactivity of the Nazca lines?

A Hole In Mars?

A Hole In Mars?!

1. Scientists at NASA have found what they're calling a hole in Mars.
2. There is a perfectly circular crater with a hole at the bottom leading to underground caves of undetermined size.
3. This 35 meter hole leading to the 20 meter deep cavern is said to be a good candidate to contain Martian life.

What could have caused this hole in the surface? Could it be the remnant of an ancient weapon?
What kind of life do they anticipate finding down there? Are we being prepared for something they already know?
Why does our government continue to push out tantalizing tidbits like this, rather than coming clean and telling us what's actually out there?
Do they fear the reaction of the populace? Is this why the President has signed so many executive orders giving the government extraordinary powers - in case of emergency?

Mars and Water - Again!

1. A recent paper published in Science indicates that Martian valleys may not have been cut by running water.
2. The paper claims that features of the valleys are the result of lava flows under shear forces.
3. These coils are similar to lava coils found on Earth - near the Galapagos Islands.

One of the mystifying aspects to this story is the complete lack of reference to earlier discoveries of gypsum on Mars, which is typically a very strong indication of the action of water.
In addition, the lava coils on Earth which are mentioned as being similar to those on Mars are found under water - in the Pacific Ocean, to be specific.
When will our governments stop trying to "protect" us from the truth?
When will they tell us what's really out there?

Martian Deception? Perhaps Not

My colleague, Listener 43, may have jumped the gun in posting his commentary on the discovery of life on Mars.

1. He does note that this was based on a study of only one experiment, ignoring the data from two other contemporary experiments.
2. He seems not to realize that this analysis runs counter to many others of the same data which found no evidence of life.
3. While sampling technology has certainly advanced in the intervening years, the analysis of this data has noting to do with updated sampling, but rather only with new analyses of the same samples.

Given the relatively short distances between Earth and Mars, there is little doubt that material from each planet can be found on the other - in fact, we have found Martian rocks in the antarctic - likely due to its being "splashed" out of the planetary gravity well by comet, asteroid, or meteorite impact.
It is much easier to believe - if any of this material really does represent the presence of life - that  its source was actually Earth rather than Mars.
Of course, there is still little reason to believe that there is the evidence of life in those samples at this point.

Clearly, my skepticism on this subject should not be taken to imply that I doubt the existence of any extraterrestrial life. It simply means that we haven't really found any evidence in these experiments, any more than we have evidence of global warming in the carefully curated sub-sample of tree-ring data.
In much the same way, I know that the Earth has warmed since the depths of the Ice Age; I simply don't know that the global fleet of HUMMERs is uniquely to blame, and would never use such a paucity of evidence to claim it to be so.

1. Russian space probes headed for Mars typically disappear into space or crash into the ocean.
2. Russia recently suffered just such a mishap with the Phobos-Grunt probe.
3. Russian scientists are now drilling into the deepest fresh water lake in Antarctica.
4. They anticipate finding new (to humanity at least) life-forms which have adapted to the high-pressure, low-light, high-oxygen environment.

Why are the Russians drilling in the same place that countless movie and TV producers have found ideal for an alien threat locale?
Why do they insist on drilling into a place where any life they encounter will either be harmed by its contact with Earth-normal conditions, or are likely to cause harm to Earth-normal life?
Why was there a long period of radio silence between the on-site Russian announcement of the impending breakthrough and resumed contact regarding the progress if the drilling?
What happened in those intervening days?

1. The head of the Russian space agency has hinted that foreign sabotage might be to blame for the malfunction of the country's Martian space probe, Phobos-Grunt.
2. In Russian, there is only one word to mean both "foreign" and "alien."
3. Vladimir Popovkin told Russian newspaper Izvestia,"Today there is no clarity, why the propulsion unit onboard Phobos-Grunt failed to start.
   "It is also unclear, why our satellites often have failures at the time when they fly out of range where we don't see the vehicle and do not receive telemetry from it.
   "I don’t want to make any accusations, but today there is powerful equipment to influence spacecrafts, and the possibility of their use should not be ruled out....”

Given the long history of Russian space program failures in their Martian efforts - while not in their Earth-orbit and lunar missions - it is interesting to note that there is only the translator's preference to tell us of "foreign" rather than "alien" sabotage.
When will NASA and ESA admit that they know what has been wreaking havoc on the Martian probes of Russia?
Can there be any doubt that it has been witnessed and recorded by the many and highly capable satellites orbiting our planet?
Why won't these government agencies inform the public of what is causing these failures?
This is especially irresponsible as we await this weekend's rain of flaming debris from their latest casualty: Phobos-Grunt.

Another Search Is On!

This time it's for martian hypothermophilic chemolithotrophs - martian analogues to terrestrial life forms that live in the warm underground biosphere.

1. Mars has an atmospheric pressure only 0.7% of that of Earth.
2. Typical martian temperatures are on the order of -63 C (-81 F).
3. It may well be that underground is the only place for life to flourish.

Why does NASA (and ESA for that matter) maintain silence regarding these subterranean life forms?
When will we be told just what has been found by the Martian rovers as they have dug into the surface of the red planet?
When will we actually learn who built the canals, and who covered them up before our orbiters arrived to map them?

Water, Mars, Saturn, and Technocrats

1. NASA's Opportunity rover has found a bright vein of what scientists believe to be gypsum.
2. This vein appears to have been formed by flowing water: Steve Squyres of Cornell says, “This tells a slam-dunk story that water flowed through underground fractures in the rock.”
3. Russian efforts to reach Mars have been repeatedly foiled by "technical problems" with their spacecraft.

It seems apparent that there is some connection between the water on Mars and the unexpected water cycle among Saturn, Enceladus, and Titan.
Given that relationship, why won't NASA or the ESA release any information on how much of the Saturn water has been sourced from Mars, and how much from Titan?
When will our technocrat self-proclaimed overlords admit how much they know, and tell us just what threats exist here in our own solar system?

The Search for XT Artifacts is On

1. A recent scientific paper has determined that "we cannot rule out the possibility that nonterrestrial artifacts are present and may even be observing us."
2. The Russian Mars mission has come to an unexpected and unsuccessful end.
3. The Chinese have working docking capabilities in space now.
4. There are lines similar to the Nazca lines recently discovered in China.

With science admitting that there are likely to be alien artifacts around us - potentially as observers, and with new Nazca-like lines found on the Earth, it seems foolish to dismiss the possibility that these are not isolated incidents.

For some reason the Russians are not being allowed to explore Mars, while the Chinese have received some sort of writing / drawing / message which the West has yet to decode.

We will report here as more evidence comes to light, but we anticipate nothing but obfuscation of the most important discoveries from the governments of Earth.

Russians, Asteroids, and Mars

1. Russia launched an interplanetary craft, headed for Mars.
2. An asteroid passed close to the Earth - within the orbit of the Moon
3. The Russian spaceship - with a Chinese satellite aboard - has become disabled in Earth orbit.

This is just the most recent in a long line of failed Russian Mars expeditions. The interesting coincidence comes with the fact that the Chinese are using this ship to get a satellite to Mars, and that it failed at the same time that a giant "asteroid" was passing close to the Earth - closer than the Moon is.

When will the Russian space agency admit that they've been targeted for failure?
When will NASA and the ESA release un-edited footage of the purported asteroid passing by the Earth?
Do they actually expect us to accept this event as simply a coincidence? Again?

We'll be monitoring the situation, and will report back here as more facts become available.
